Choosing the right peg is reasonably easy;

304 stainless is a Quality Stainless Steel, Suitable for most of Australia but it’s not recommended in marine environments. With its one piece construction, it is very suited to living outside but doesn’t like to be kept in water or exposed to salt spray. As a guide these pegs are recommended for use ~18km inland from the Australian Coastline.

316 (Marine Grade) Stainless Steel is a marine grade peg, ready for the harsh coastal conditions of Australia. It boasts a single piece construction, designed for everyday use , and is unphased by the elements when left outside in the rain, wind & sun.
